Since February is American Heart Month for our humans, I brought my friend along to talk about hearts. Did you know that the human heart beats about 100,000 times per day? That's equivalent to 36,500,000 beats per year!
Wow - that's one hard working organ!
I've been informed by my medical staff that heart disease is a concern in our country. Since this disease varies by state, gender and race, my mom developed an infographic to sort out all of the details. Here is a link to her chart:
