Now that school has started for most kids, I think we need to consider that age-old excuse that some kids use when they haven't done their homework...."The dog ate my homework!" Personally, I've never found my human sister's homework to look the least bit tasty. However, given the shirt I'm wearing, this dog clearly had an appetite for some delicious math homework. I'm guessing that the subject matter was "pi" ;) Apparently, teachers need to keep an open mind to this excuse...because the proof may just be an x-ray away!
The month of August is recognized as "National Immunization Awareness Month" for the humans.
Our humans need immunizations (also called vaccines or shots) to help protect them from serious diseases. To help keep our community safe, I am proudly participating in National Immunization Awareness Month, via this blog post.
Shots can prevent serious diseases like measles, diphtheria, and rubella. It’s important to know which shots our humans need and when to get them.
Everyone age 6 months and older needs a seasonal flu shot every year. Other shots work best when they are given at certain ages.
We interrupt your summer (if you live in the Northern Hemisphere) to talk about the importance of staying hydrated. We pups need to have a fresh supply of cool water to drink when we're playing outside on hot, sultry days. As much as I love my hydrant pals, I would not suggest drinking
from hydrants ;) With that in mind, I found this fun chair with water bowls in the arms and I'm trying to get my mom to buy it for me. Don't you think I would look good in this chair?
My name is Stewey. I'm a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who has quite the wardrobe! My Mom loves to dress me up, plunk me in the same old chair, and take photos of me. I built this blog, so that I can express myself!
